Priester Aviation is searching for a Sr. Flight Services Advisor to join a dynamic, energetic and solutions-driven team. The Sr. Flight Services Advisor is responsible for analyzing trips to determine potential issues before they arise with a focus on international operations. This role is an integral part of the Flight Services department which is responsible for all logistical coordination, being a liaison for the flight crew while providing high-level concierge services. This individual needs to be able to effectively communicate with all interested parties in a timely and professional manner.

LOCATION

Training and shifts will take place at Priester Aviation’s main office located in Wheeling, IL.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Receive flight details from owners, assistants, sales and create trips based on required schedule
Execute trip services such as notifying FBO’s of the aircraft’s arrival/departure and arrange for aircraft passenger and crew services
Provide crew with detailed briefings to encompass all relevant flight information
Assist in coordination of details with preferred fleet vendors
Responsible for facilitation of all arrangements including feasibility checks, pre-planning, and executing required tasks for international flights
Review trips details to ensure adherence with FAR 135 / 91 and Priester standards to include compliance with Operational Control requirements for operations and maintenance departments
Execute flight following and proactively communicate expected delays or concerns
Ability to work a flexible schedule and participate in on-call rotation
Support and promote the goals and objectives of Priester Aviation’s Safety Management System and Quality Management System

Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years Corporate Aviation scheduling experience to include international operations
FAA Aircraft Dispatchers Certificate (preferred)
FOS or other Aviation Scheduling software experience (preferred)
Knowledge of domestic and foreign travel requirements
Familiarity with limitations of corporate aircraft
Ability to make decisions quickly and work effectively in a high stress, dynamic environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong oral and written communication skills
Customer service focused with exceptional attention to detail
