Since 1978, aircraft owners have trusted Mayo Aviation to effectively manage their assets and aviation services with industry leading transparency. Our owners rely on us to provide cost controls and resource management to ensure your flight department can weather nearly any stormy environment.
Our compliance driven, safety focused processes are designed around one philosophy – keeping our owners and passengers safe. Our customers value long term relationships built on this type of safety driven transparent management model.
Lasting relationships. Mayo Aviation and Flight for Life Colorado have enjoyed a long-standing relationship serving the people in the Rocky Mountain West for over 41 years.
Mayo Aviation Philosophy
SAFETY IS ALWAYS OUR TOP PRIORITY
Many companies have a great safety record, but as one of few elite operators to have been registered by the ACSF for meeting its Industry Audit Standard, an independent evaluation of an operator’s adherence to the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance, the competition cannot match the level of comfort that you will receive at Mayo Aviation. Furthermore, we are Wyvern Registered, ARGUS Gold Rated, and received the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Corporate Business Flying Safety Award for over 35 years in a row along with 216,000 hours of accident-free flying, a record few operators can match.
Service
Service never changes by definition and the average length of time our managed airplane customer has been with us is over 15 years. At Mayo we serve at the pleasure of our customers. Our national presence has never stopped us from listening to our customers and delivering solutions to their unique needs. Our approach to service is to first understand and then to deliver. We deliver unique solutions based on our people and our technology which rarely sound like the approach most other national brands will take.
Our Team
Andy Priester
Chairman & CEO
Andy Priester serves as Chairman and CEO for Priester Aviation and Mayo Aviation.
He is the third generation of Priesters to lead the business, the largest and oldest family-owned Management and Charter company in the world. The Priester family has a rich aviation history starting in 1945, including owning Palwaukee Airport – KPWK (now renamed Chicago Executive Airport), operating a flight school, operating multiple FBOs, providing 145 maintenance services, and operating an aircraft sales division.
In 2022, Andy led the strategic acquisition of Mayo Aviation, a customer-focused, family-led company with decades of history similar to Priester. Priester Aviation currently focuses solely on Aircraft Management and Global Charter after the strategic sale of the other business units while Mayo Aviation is the Rocky Mountain region’s expert in Aircraft Management, private jet charter, and also operates an FAA Diamond Award-winning Part 145 repair station. In this role, Andy is dedicated to leading the organization’s growth and enhancing Priester and Mayo’s position as the preeminent choice in aircraft management, aircraft charter, maintenance support, and related aviation services. During Andy’s tenure at Priester, he has grown the fleet from seven aircraft to over 85 managed between Priester and Mayo from 20 bases globally today.
Andy currently sits on the board of the Air Charter Safety Foundation and the Advisory Board for the O’Malley College of Business at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is past Chair of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and YPO Chicago – Windy City. Andy is a proud University of Dayton Flyer and holds a Master’s degree from Concordia University.
Andy is the proud father of Madison who manages Priester and Mayo Aviation’s marketing efforts and Quinn who is a professional baseball player for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Andy participates philanthropically at his local Food Pantry, the Chicagoland Urban League, and Feed My Starving Children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends in the mountains, on the water, or exploring the outdoors.

Brent Moldowan
President
I enjoy providing solutions for people. Aviation isn’t just a fun environment in which to work, it opens up amazing possibilities to make life better. At Mayo I am focused on knocking down hurdles for us to provide services that make it easier for people to live their lives. I am proud of our work with the Flight for Life Colorado program and how hundreds of people come together every day to make aviation a part of saving lives. Starting with flying in 1990 and working in the business of aviation since 1994 I have learned that the people you are with and the teams you build create the most important structure to success with customers. I truly value the team environment and love seeing others succeed. There is nothing more important in my life than being with my family.
Don Jenkins
Vice President of Finance and IT
I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals and dreams. I get professional fulfillment from being a valued team member who helps others and the company become their very best. I am focused on providing financial information and technology solutions that help our team provide the best service possible to our stakeholders. I believe that providing secure, transparent and actionable information to our clients, employees and suppliers is my key responsibility and am most proud of my track record of implementing systems and processes that make my teammate and the company successful. My greatest strength is my ability to see the big picture and translate it into actionable plans and goals for my teammates. My time away from work is spent on treasured time with my family, the grandchildren, gardening, and the never-ending home improvement projects I enjoy completing.
Carl Bennett
Director of Safety
I ensure our core value of safety is championed across all operations for our clients and our personnel. I am focused on the continuous improvement of a quality-based and just safety culture, specifically one which is informed, flexible, educational, and accountable. I was honored to serve as Chairman of the Radiopharmaceutical Shippers and Carriers Conference, (RSCC), an association focused on the safe manufacture and transport of vital medical products for patients needing diagnosis and therapy and am presently enrolled at Florida Institute of Technology as a Master of Science candidate in Aviation Safety. I bring 34 years of industry and regulatory experience to the team and strive to benefit the team through my resourcefulness. Relationships are vital to everyone’s success and serving others by leading them toward a safe and just work environment is a rewarding and ongoing venture. I also hold a private pilot certificate and am an acoustic guitar performer in the local area.
Stephanie Mueller
Manager of Human Resources
I believe I have the opportunity to make a profoundly positive impact on employees lives and am excited about influencing the future of the company through recruitment and other strategic initiatives. At Mayo Aviation, I am focused on making positive changes that improve the culture of our workplace for all through the continuous improvement of processes and employee resources. In my career I’ve been proud of the many systems, policies, and processes I’ve implemented but I am most proud of the few moments I have been able to make a very real impact on an employee’s life by helping them solve personal problems. My success in my career can be attributed to my ability to relate and communicate at all levels of the organization, from the janitor to the CEO. I believe in helping others and that every single one of us can make a difference in the life of someone else. I am a wife, a mom, and I have a love of all things music – especially concerts. My second passion is the law – I think if I could have chosen any other career I would be an attorney and work for the Innocence Project.
