Description

The IT Manager role will oversee information technology strategies, policies and procedures and evaluate organization outcomes; identify problems and implement corrective action; evaluate trends and anticipating requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accomplish information technology results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling employees; initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills in accountability and customer focus.
  • Review of system logs, disk space utilization, processor, and memory utilization.
  • Engage in setup, analysis, and troubleshooting tasks related to basic and intermediate information of technology hardware and software, configure, and maintain security tools (web, filter, spam filter, virus protection, firewalls, wireless, etc.), and remote access to the network (portal, VPN, terminal services, etc.).
  • Manage VMware servers.
  • Administer and maintain server backup systems for data backup and recovery.
  • Establishes and maintains server documentation, SOPS, and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on all network equipment and software configurations Create and update knowledge base articles.
  • Acute attention to enterprise security.
  • Provide on-call support for critical events.
  • Frontline liaison to third party IT contractors and support specialist.
  • Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables.
  • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Participate in Priester’s Emergency Response Plan at “CMC Participant” level of proficiency.
  • Other job duties assigned

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of at least 5 years IT experience is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft O365 administrative tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems or related field.
  • Knowledgeable of fault-tolerance schemes and disaster recovery preferred.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and confirmed sound judgment of taking appropriate actions regarding findings or concerns.
  • Proven knowledge of Information Technology, Information Technology Security as well as Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, Microsoft Outlook, Networking (routers switches firewalls) and VoIP Phone Systems.
  • Solid analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent business communication skills a must.
  • Established experience interacting with various levels of internal and external business partners/users.
  • Web based programing / application support / development understanding /abilities.
  • HTML programing and Integration support of SQL / MYSQL.
  • Working knowledge of PCs, printers, Windows 10 operating system, and windows-based application software programs.
  • Proficiencies in MS Office applications and Project Management.
  • Proven experience leading a cooperative effort among members of a team in a fast-paced, change management environment as well as the ability to formulate strategies and utilize both internal and external resources.
  • Experience with HP Equipment and Dell Equipment.
  • Experience with Apple IOS devices / IPADs / Etc.
  • Experience with cloud-based applications.
